Yalçın Kaya, the founder of Piri Red, is an industrial engineer and data expert passionate about personal development and optimizing performance. After discovering the benefits of red light therapy, he was inspired to create high-quality, effective devices at an affordable price.


Frustrated by weak, overpriced products, he launched his first product line in 2024 after a year of development. Now in its second iteration, the user-friendly devices have sold hundreds of units and earned an impressive 4.8-star average rating.

Red Light Therapy (RLT)

Aslo known as Photobiomodulation, Low-Level Laser Therapy or Cold Laser Therapy is a non-invasive treatment using specific wavelengths of light

to stimulate natural healing processes in the body

How does Photobiomodulation work?

The application of red light (600–810 nm) is absorbed by the enzyme cytochrome c oxidase, which is located in the unit IV respiratory chain of the mitochondria. Nitric oxide (NO) is then displaced and activates the enzyme and this leads to a proton gradient. Consequently, calcium ions (Ca2+), reactive oxygen species (ROS), and ATP production levels are increased.

The application of near-infrared light (810–1064nm) activates light-sensitive ion channels, and increases the levels of Ca2+. ROS and cyclic AMP (cAMP)then interact with the calcium ions.

Is Red Light Therapy Safe?

Red light therapy is considered a safe and non-invasive treatment with minimal risks when used appropriately. Research shows that it does not emit harmful UV rays and has no known long-term side effects.


However, safety depends on proper usage, including following the recommended treatment times and avoiding excessive exposure. Temporary redness or mild irritation may occur in some cases.

Option 1 - Wall Mount

Pros

  • Simple and secure installation.
  • Included with all products at no additional cost.
  • Space-efficient, making it ideal for small areas.
  • Allows for multiple units to be installed side-by-side.

Cons

  • Fixed position; cannot be moved.
  • Requires users to stand in front of the panel.
  • Only one side of the body can be treated at a time.

  2. Adjustable height and angle for versatile use—suitable for standing or lying down.
  3. Portable, allowing for flexible placement.
  4. More versatile for accommodating different user preferences.

  1. Stands may pose a trip hazard if not supervised.
  2. Requires more space for setup.
  3. Additional cost for purchasing the stands.

General Installation Considerations

  • Optimal Distance for Use:
    Panels deliver the best results when positioned close to the user. Maintaining a distance of approximately 15 cm is recommended for maximum effectiveness.
  • Durable and Efficient Design:
    Equipped with an excellent cooling system, the panels can safely operate at temperatures up to 40°C, offering a lifespan of up to 100,000 hours. In enclosed spaces with multiple panels, additional air conditioning may be required to ensure user comfort.
  • Not Suitable for Sauna Use:
    Panels should not be used in saunas. Excessive heat can significantly degrade their lifespan and may void the warranty.
  • Electrical Infrastructure Considerations:
    Depending on your panel selection, dedicated infrastructure may be required to meet energy demands. The PIRI team can provide detailed specifications and requirements.

  • Comprehensive 3-Year Warranty:
    Covers manufacturing defects and malfunctions. Faulty components will be repaired or replaced free of charge during the warranty period.
  • Repairing and Maintenance:
    All panels can be serviced by a qualified electrician, with replacement parts and detailed instructions provided. For added convenience, Piri Red can arrange authorized technicians for repairs (subject to WA support team availability).
